AUG 3rd 2017 Would it be possible to have self-organising research teams in academia? This was the topic of a chat that I had today with two colleagues of mine (Reine van der Wal & Anouk van der Weiden). Would they inspire more collaboration? Is it possible to embed such a system within the current academic system? What are the pro’s and con’s? Interesting stuff! The three of us are going to explore the possibility some more in the near future.
